OpenCL Particles over Super Shapes

This Quartz Composer composition is very similar to  the OpenCL Particles over a Sphere  example . Instead of a sphere , equations are used to generate particles initial positions .

Impressive OpenCL Work

I'm completely bowled over by the efficient way you've exploited the OpenCL kernel in QC and coupled that with some tremendous GLSL shapes - & I'm really speaking of all those recent OpenCL works, which I've only just discovered thanks to a link posted to the Kineme forum by Steve Elbows.

Fantastic work, couldn't understand why you left the colours undefined in some of the Kernels, so I threw them in for good measure whilst reworking and researching your posted examples.

Thanks for sharing the fruits of your labours with us.

BTW - I guess you already know that the OpenCL items don't do full screen well, still looking into how to avoid that happening and keeping that sweet supersampling.

Your emphasis upon rendering into a Feedback loop with supersampling has given me something new to chew over in regards of working with OpenCL in QC.

Quality :-)
